We know this suggestion is another kind of obvious one, but taking the stairs instead of the elevator can actually have a scientific impact on your weight loss. How so? Well, a study was done by the University of New Mexico, if you climb two floors a day, you could lose six pounds per year. It doesn’t stop there.
If you happen to live in an apartment block, you can go further. According to the same study, if you can climb six floors a day, you can lose an astonishing 17 pounds in a year! So, with the minimum of effort, you can lose a significant amount of excess weight just by avoiding the elevator.
