At the beginning of the global coronavirus pandemic, our nation’s top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, stated that many people scoffed at that handshakes could become a thing of the past. As ridiculous as that might have sounded a couple of months ago, it doesn’t seem too far-fetched now as many of the routine things we do are changing in a bid to stop the continuing spread.
More and more people in today’s world are acutely aware of germs and hygiene as the pandemic has forced us to perform daily routines like disinfecting objects and surfaces, constantly washing our hands, and being aware of the potential germs we might spread just by having a simple conversation with each other.
Many more things might become a thing of the past as we look to change certain rituals and habits as many simple and seemingly innocent things we did in the past, now have potentially devastating consequences for both ourselves as individuals and the people we interact with every day.
With that in mind, here is a list of things we may never do the same way again.
