At this moment, there are still a few COVID-19 variants going around in the US. With a test positivity rate of 11%, there are more than 41,412 cases reported per day. Maybe you would think that this is not that much, but keep in mind that if the positivity is over 5%, the transmission is considered uncontrolled.
