Devastating Political Assassinations That Changed History

America is no stranger to the devastating impact a political assassination can have on a country and the very soul of its people. If Kennedy had survived his assassination attempt, we would have perhaps never entered Vietnam, or we could have had warmer relations with the USSR? Unfortunately, the assassin’s bullet found its mark and changed not just American history forever but the world.

This most famous and terrible event hasn’t been the only time when an assassination changed the course of history. Whether blade, bullet, or bomb, these murders, either for political or ideological reasons, changed the lives of not just the assassin and their target but thousands if not millions of others across the globe.
