Most inventions that have had a negative impact on the world were made with good intentions but ended up permanently altering it. The inventions featured in the article stand out as some of the best to have had the worst results, even if very few inventions are perfect.
Few would argue that the development of cars and airplanes made travel considerably simpler, yet it’s difficult to ignore the fact that cars pollute and airplanes can be employed in battle. The same is true of rockets, TV, and the internet, which can all be advantageous and risky at the same time.
These inventions changed the course of history forever and are by far the most disastrous inventions, in contrast to the most worthless inventions, which aren’t so much damaging as they are simply plain ridiculous.
