As we’ve seen more natural disasters in the last 20-30 years, given the fact that global warming is firmly advancing its own pathway, it’s only natural to be more fearful than ever. For the last couple of years, there wasn’t one summer without strong forest fires or strong earthquakes.
Luckily, there hasn’t been a hurricane for quite a while! But the truth is that we’re all guarded for the worst, as we can clearly see things aren’t getting any better. Even so, it is worth reminding of the times when these disastrous stories ended with hope. Here are a couple of beautiful reminders that humanity and compassion can beat any natural disaster:
