1. Eric Morecambe
Eric Morecambe was a fantastic English comedian who worked together with Ernie Wise and formed an amazing group called Morecambe and Wise.
The tragedy happened on May 27th, 1984, after he had a stunning performance at a charity event in Tewkesbury with the goal of raising money for disabled facilities.
After he made the crowd of 400 people laugh and have the time of their lives, the comedian left the stage to welcome a band, but during the musical number, he came back on the stage, laughing and pretending to play instruments.
When he went backstage for the final time, he suffered a heart attack, which was actually the third one he suffered in the last 16 years of his life. Even though his wife, who was part of the audience during that show, said that Mr. Morecambe was in top form, the star was pronounced dead soon after the incident.

You forgot CARMEN MIRANDA, the Brazilian Bombshell star of many MGM, 20th Century Fox musicals. Appearing as a guest on a weekly tv variety show, she finished her song to applause, curtains closed as she took bows, and stayed closed, leaving 1 of her legs exposed to the audience. Stage hands must have pulled her body behind the curtain as her leg disappeared from sight. It was GHASTLY!
Plus Tommy Cooper suffered a similar fate, dying on stage 15th April 1984 from a heart attack ๐
Comedian Dick Shawn died while performing his act at the University of California, San Diego. Age 67. As with Cognito, the audience thought his collapse was part of his act.
I believe you can add Tiny Tim to this list, who suffered a heart attack on stage and died on the way to a table
Dick Shawn. Brilliant comedian/actor.
Had only heard of Eric..You forgot Tommy Cooper.
Tommy Cooper another great comedian passed on stage. One of the things he used to say was โJust like thatโ I can still hear his voice now saying that
