3. Cory Lidle
Cory Lidle was a right-handed pitcher and a talented sportsman who spent the years 1997โ2006 in Major League Baseball with the New York Mets, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays, Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, and New York Yankees.
Sadly, our beautiful America lost one of its most appreciated pitchers when, on October 11th, 2006, Lidle was killed when his jet collided with a skyscraper in Manhattan. The pilot who had been teaching Lidle to fly was also among those who lost their lives. He will be forever missed.

There are many more than these that have lost their lives in aircraft accidents. John Denver, Alliyah, Stevie Ray Vaughn, etc.
Vic Morrow
What about Aalyah, Kobe Bryant, Otis Redding
The ones that 1st cam to my mind weren’t even mentioned, Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, Audie Murphy & Vic Morrow.
What about Patsy Cline she died in an aeroplane crash too ๐
Get your facts straight AI. JFK Jr., his wife and sister in law perished in a plane that he was flying.
You did not have Kobe Bryant., his daughter and others on their way to a game , John Denver, Rick Nelson, John Kennedy made a fatal mistake flying his plane when he did not know enough knowledge to fly it yet and is was a plane not a helicopter . Race car driver Kiel Petty’s son, Bobby Allison’s son and Rick Hendricks only son, just to name a few.
