Another beloved and famous star who was tragically killed in a helicopter crash was country singer Troy Gentry. He was part of a country music band called Montgomery Gentry, and the band was known for their no-holds-barred style of country music; the pair was often cited as one of the most hard-rocking acts in the genre.
But we lost one of the most appreciated performers on September 8th, 2017, when Troy Gentry was killed in a helicopter collision near Medford, New Jersey.
The band confirmed Gentry’s death in a Facebook post and said further information on the incident was forthcoming. Gentry left behind his beautiful wife, Angie, and their children, Kaylee and Taylor.

I think when people become rich and famous, they had to think more seriously about their lives. When an average person dies, the family and friends will miss them. But when Celebrities die the whole world will miss them.

Trouble with helicopters is they have no wings. If the engine goes wrong the ‘Copter becomes a flying brick. This sort of flying machine should be fitted with a large parachute that could float the machine down. Also needed is a device that emits a signal for a long time so the wreck can be found. I am scared stiff of flying and prefer to keep to a bicycle.

Big time mistakes in this article. Right off the bat with the first crash, with the Kennedy’s. They were flying in a plane, that Kennedy was not totally certified on. Not a helicopter, as indicated in the article. The second crash, you initially said that she had just finished doing a concert in New Mexico. The story all of a sudden changes, and says she is in Mexico. Where the heck was she? 😅
This is a VERY poorly researched article. Some of our greatest stars were omitted — and who ever heard about the Laras.?!! Otis Redding, Alliyah, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Carole Lombard, Richie Valens, Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, Jim Croce, John Denver, and members of the Bar-Kays and Lynrd Skynrd bands all died in aircraft accidents.

You never saw a picture of it, because it didn’t have a tail anymore. Would be easy to see evidence of an explosion, but no one cares.
