2005 Hurricane Katrina

Hurricane Katrina was no less than the 11th storm and the 5th hurricane of the 2005 Atlantic hurricane season. It has been by far the priciest organic disaster, among the other five deadly hurricanes in the history of America.

In August 2005, the United States had to face the worst hurricanes in the last hundred years. Technically, it was a category four storm that hit the state of Florida, plus it damaged other towns such as Mississippi, New Orleans, Gulfport, and Biloxi. Close to 1833 individuals got carried away by the Hurricane. Katrina triggered some severe destructions across the Gulf coastline, through main Florida to Texas.
