Daytona Beach might be one of the most popular beaches in the country, but it’s also the second-most dangerous one in the United States: it has the biggest number of shark attacks by a landslide, with 39 reported incidents.
And crimes are also “at home” on this beach, given the fact that there were 581 crimes reported between May and September 2021. Even though the majority of them were classified as non-violent, if you don’t want to have problems with thieves, you might consider choosing another vacation spot.
