- Providing Texans disaster relief from tropical depression Imelda – Imelda destroyed the lives of more than 6.6 million Texans, leaving an estimated $1 billion in damages behind her. Two years later, our Disaster Case Managers keep on helping residents of Chambers, Harris, Jefferson, Liberty, Montgomery, Orange, And San Jacinto counties recover from the disaster.
- A Hurricane Irma disaster recovery story – In Florida, Lori Gerrard was forced to deal with unimaginable conditions after Hurricane Irma left her roof devastated and her home defenseless against any kind of rodents or bugs. At the time, Endeavors quickly teamed up with a team of estimators, contractors, and The Salvation Army to restore her entire home and the quality of life. It took a whole village, but the results were amazing!
- Endeavors and the American Red Cross – I think it is easy to see how many good things nonprofit partners can achieve if they put their minds together for a thing. And when it comes to the American Red Cross, there should be only endless gratefulness, given that they have helped Americans serve communities impacted by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Harvey!
- Endeavors helps the city of Dallas take in Hurricane Laura evacuees – When Hurricane Laura completely blew Houston away, Endeavors’ Emergency Response Reservists arrived within an hour to help Dallas Fire Rescue, Police, Animal Rescue, AND medical professionals and activate, as they should have, a disaster emergency response. In only one day, their team managed to process and shelter 179 evacuees in three hotels.
