New Mexico
Don’t get fooled by the quiet and peaceful picture, because if you want to avoid a robbery, New Mexico isn’t the place to move. Although in 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic started, there was a significant decrease in robberies, New Mexico is still at the top of the list of the most dangerous states in America. For example, both in 2021 and 2022, the average robbery rate was around 696.8 per 100,000, which is high!
Bottom line
Believe it or not, every 20 seconds, a home robbery occurs in our country. This means there are around 4,800 burglaries every day, and a total of 23% of them enter your house through the window. Now that’s scary! Moreover, a lot of them tend to “visit” your home after 10 a.m., especially if you have a 9-to-5 job and are away for a lot of hours.
But before you panic, consider some things. First of all, have home insurance, then try to secure your space as much as possible, and if your budget allows, install cameras both inside and outside your property. And if it’s possible, try to hide your most valuable belongings in places where they are hard to find.
For example, behind your wardrobe, in the freezer, or even in your laundry basket. These are the least likely places where thieves tend to look in the 10 or fewer minutes they are inside your property. Be cautious!

There is no such thing as a safe State anymore, be vigilant and wary and cautious on the neighborhood that you are in and donโt obviously go to unsafe and unfamiliar placeโs specially @ night
Fortunately, the state in which I live is not on your list. However, when I got to the last page, I was dumbstruck: I was BORN in New Mexico! I never lived there, though, because soon after I was born my parents moved to California! That said, this article was one of the most interesting ones I’ve seen online, well worth the short reading-time! Thank you!
Is it a coincidence that arizona texas and new mexico are all border states, And nevada is pretty close. Just Asking.
