6. Bradenton – Florida
Florida is known as the Sunshine State for a good reason, but there are few places more spectacular to enjoy the last embers of that sunshine than Bradenton. Located on Anna Maria Island in the Manatee River and nestled just south of Tampa Bay between St. Petersburg and Sarasota on Florida’s West Coast, this historical city has the motto “The Friendly City.”
Despite being on this list for its spectacular sunsets, it is not a place that crowds will surround you. The island is not big, so it is perfect for that evening walk as the sun kisses the sea. And because you are surrounded by water, the colorful sunset is beautifully reflected in the waters.
