2. Jack the Ripper
Even though the name Jake the Ripper is widely known, his identity is uncertain. Whoever he actually was, we can definitely consider him (or her) a notorious killer.
Around 1888, Jack the Ripper struck a neighborhood of London by brutally murdering at least five women in the middle of the street. He would sometimes even remove certain parts of their bodies and keep them as a prize.
Jack the Ripper’s real identity is unlikely to ever be discovered, but it’s scary to think someone like this ever lived. The police believed he was a highly skilled professional who knew how to use a scalpel. He would also scam the police by sharing details of his murders.
