2. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Making yourself stop using bottled water will of course decrease plastic waste, but on the other end of the scale, recycling the things you do use can be equally helpful. Reducing pollution is as easy as putting a soda can, used paper, or plastics in the recycling bin. The only effort involved is reminding yourself to do it.
You can also use your purchasing power to make a difference by never buying disposable plates, spoons, glass, cups, or napkins and instead use that money to buy products that are made of recycled materials and carry them home in a reusable bag.
