2. Warm Nights
Who doesn’t love a nice warm evening? However, when it is coupled with stratus clouds, it could be a recipe for a brewing storm. Stratus clouds are a featureless gray cloudscapes that are high in the sky and usually block the sunlight.
By blocking the sunlight, the stratus clouds act as insulators and therefore block the heat from escaping into the atmosphere, keeping the night warm. Coupled with southerly winds, it makes the nights very warm.
