4. Erma Bombeck
Erma Bombeck was a beautiful woman whose syndicated column, “At Wit’s End,” made an appearance in almost 1000 newspapers. She wasn’t just a pretty face; her talent helped her write 12 books and more than 4,500 columns.
Moreover, 9 of the fabulous books she wrote successfully made the New York Times bestseller list. However, her health wasn’t exactly good, and she received a kidney transplant on April 3rd, 1996.
But 3 weeks after the surgery, her body suffered some complications, and she left this world behind on April 22nd, 1996. Even though she’s no longer with us, her books will live forever.
5. Bill Paxton
If you’ve watched the 1986 movie “Aliens,”ย you surely know who Bill Paxton was. This man was a very talented actor and impressed the public with all the roles he had. Some of his most famous and appreciated films are “Earp in Tombstone” (1993), “Twister” (1996), and “Navy Seals” (1990), where he played alongside Michael Biehn and Charlie Sheen.
He died on February 25th, 2017, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California, due to some complications he suffered after surgery. Doctors tried to repair his damaged aorta and replace a heart valve, but 11 days after the intervention, he suffered a stroke and left this world and his fans behind.
6. Steve McQueen
The last actor on our list is Terence Steven “Steve” McQueen, who was also known by his fans as “The King of Cool”, thanks to his antihero acting persona that had a big influence on the counterculture of the ’60s. He had fantastic roles in “The Cincinnati Kid” and “The Great Escape”, which are 2 films you should definitely watch.
The celeb was diagnosed with metastatic cancer and went to Mexico to remove some of the tumors he had, but on November 7th, 1980, he died of mesothelioma, when he was only 50 years old.
