5. Perry
This is a little rural town that can be found between the busy city of Tallahassee to the north and Gainsville to the south. If you are a fan of outdoor activities, Perry might be the perfect place for you. Maybe you like hiking or boating, or you might enjoy fishing and hunting; you can do any of these activities here.
Nature is amazing, and at the same time, you will not feel isolated because there are many stores open in the area and also some well-known restaurant chains.
But the crime statistics are not that positive in this suburban haven. The poverty rate is high, at 32.2 percent, and there is a 1 in 17 chance of becoming a victim of a violent crime or a property crime.
