President Joe Biden planned on visiting Florida on Tuesday, a visit that he decided to postpone. The launch of Nasa’s most powerful ever rocket from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida has also been postponed. The Artemis 1 rocket was rolled off its launch pad on Monday.
Forecasters announced that Cuba might see up to 10in of rain from Hurricane Ian. Meanwhile, Jamaica and the Cayman islands might receive between 3-6 in. The Caribbean is still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Fiona, which tore the region last week.
Moving northward to some parts of the Atlantic, Canada coastline, and eastern Quebec, Fiona took two lives, washed many homes into the sea, and downed power lines over the weekend.
