This last picture of John Lennon is chilling if you actually know the story behind it. In this picture, we can see the singer giving an autograph to a fan. What most people do not know is that the fan in question is going to be the one who will shoot and kill John Lennon about four hours later, after the picture was taken. People at the scene of the picture reported that the “fan” agreed that all he wanted was an autograph.
In the end, it proved to be a bold-faced lie, as the man would later shoot five rounds at close range into the Beatles’ star’s back. Even if Lennon was rushed to the hospital, he died there.He died in 1980 at the age of 40, way before his time.
