3. The Stanley Hotel, Colorado
Well, we already briefly mentioned this hotel in the first lines of the article. But besides being the “home” for the “Shining” movie, this hotel earned its place among the top most weird and spooky hotels in America. Even though the spooky caretaker Jack Torrance is not there, tourists may still experience the supernatural: There are a number of alleged haunted areas in the hotel, including the music hall and room 217 (where Stephen King spent the night).
