4. Students’ homes invader
Between 2000 and 2008, at least 13 students from 2 different Kansas universities were attacked in their homes by a strange man. 8 of the incidents took place at Kansas State University in Manhattan and 5 at the University of Kansas in Lawrence.
According to sources, the girls were assaulted during the fall and winter college breaks. Some people stated that he 1st looked around at the houses and the people living there to determine if there was an unlocked door or window he could use to get in.
Moreover, it was discovered that the majority of the crimes occurred between the hours of 2:00 and 4:30 in the morning and were done by a masked, armed guy.
The bad guy was thought to be a white man in his 20s, standing at about 5’9”–6’0” tall. There have been no arrests made, and the wave of house intrusions seems to have stopped in 2008.
5. Setagaya family’s disaster
One of the most notorious crimes in modern Japanese history took place in the Setagaya Ward, the 2nd biggest of Tokyo’s 23 special districts. It was discovered that the Miyazawas’ house had been broken into on the evening of December 30th, 2000.
When the invaders got inside, they stabbed to death Yasuko, a 41-year-old mother, and her daughter Niina, who was 8 years old. Besides that, they also strangled her 6-year-old son Rei. After that, they waited for 44-year-old Mikio Miyazawa to get home and stabbed him to death.
Here is the worst thing of this whole night: it occurred at roughly 11:30 p.m. and the killers stayed around after the atrocity. Authorities think the killers stayed for another 11 hours and used the Internet twice and ate ice cream during that time.
The next day, authorities located the bodies and a plethora of evidence. Among them was a bloodstained hoodie that belonged to a murderer. Even though it was soaked in blood and had no knife wounds, it was much too large to fit any of the Miyazawas.
The police discovered the perpetrators’ blood and concluded that at least 1 killer was hurt during the tragic incident. 1 of the 3 young guys the taxi driver picked up the next morning left blood in the car. Amazingly, no arrests have ever been made despite the evidence and the police’s best efforts.
