Looking back at an entry from Christopher Columbus’s diary, he writes about the bizarre incident he experienced in the Bermuda triangle. At a certain point, while sailing in this area, his compass began to go out of whack, spinning erratically.
He also noted how he and one of his men noticed a “glowing globe of light” that loomed over them in a significant stretch. Many think it was a UFO they saw.
But whether or not aliens ultimately assisted his discovery of The New World, we’ll never truly know. However, we can be confident in saying that our founding father was keen on the creepiness of the area.
