1. Sebastian, Florida
On the shores of Indian River Lagoon on Floridaโs Treasure Coast, Sebastian began life as a small fishing town in 1870 under the short-lived name of New Haven but changed to its current name in 1882. Like with most of Florida, the weather is more than clement for any retiree.
The biggest reason to move to this beautiful little river town is that, unlike some of the more expensive and big cities in the Sunshine State, is the low cost of housing, and if you decide to live in a manufactured home, you can reduce your costs even further. Not only that, but the cost of living is way below the state average. If you love beaches and fishing, this is definitely the destination for you.
Total population: 23,923
Median list price: $235,000
Percentage of population 65 and older: 31.6%

Should include weather temperatures in the description.
Several of these places in FL were negatively affected by Hurricane Ian. Not sure they are that good of a place to live right now.
