When this started more than ten months ago, Putin and his advisors really underestimated the consequences of their actions. This is a tale of institutional bias: a system that won’t break bad news to its boss. Although democracies are also prone to intelligence errors, autocracies are particularly prone to them. Leaders are not immune to psychological prejudice.

Amazingly, people are able to hold on to false notions. We, as human beings, have a tendency to overestimate our prospects for success while underestimating the devastation caused by war. Since we despise and unfairly condemn our adversaries, war may erupt exactly because of these perceptions.

  1. The problem is, Biden wants to please everybody, and that is a mayor issue.
    Biden’s foreign policies are also a disaster as we write.I say ruthless at its best.
    Instead of sending Military equipment, why not try to negotiate a peace treaty?
