5. The oxygen mask won’t last more than 20 minutes
Although alarming, that is the case. Fortunately, there is usually enough time during this period for the pilot to direct the plane to a level where more oxygen is not required. However, there is a catch with the oxygen. Because it does not truly begin this way; rather, it is first stored as a mixture of compounds before being transformed into an actual breathable gas. Wait, what? I certainly hope it wasn’t so terrifying that you’ll never want to step foot in an airplane.
