Be Careful Where You Jump!
The Machu Picchu walls hadn’t seen death since the days of conquistadors until a German tourist named Oliver Park chose to change that. The 51-year-old man tried a risky jumping selfie while skipping all the safety precautions.
He jumped but right after this, his feet slipped and he fell down the steep slope. He forgot about the inertia he would get once in the air and no one could help him. There were tourists nearby but they couldn’t do anything to save him.
That said, pay attention to your surroundings before taking a selfie! It may save your life.
