6. Huachuca Mountains, Arizona
Another region where rain loves to happen is located in the southwest of the country, in Arizona. The Huachuca Mountains are widely known for a rainy July, with an average of 30 thunderstorms, which means you will get to “experience” rain every day throughout the month. Without exaggeration, according to statistics, these mountains record around 90 thunderstorm days per year.
One good thing about this is that if you’re brave enough, you can take quite a few beautiful pictures from this area. Be aware of professional and hobby photographers, but also don’t forget to bring a raincoat, and if it’s getting too stormy, you might leave it for another time.
