Unfortunately, Oklahoma gained its place on the list of the top most dangerous places in the U.S. Since 1999, people in Oklahoma have experienced a total of 74 tornadoes in less than 21 hours, and in 2019, they established a record for the most tornadoes. If you’ve been here, then you probably know that Oklahoma is widely known for its intense and nasty climate, which includes thunderstorms and dust storms. The season begins in late spring (around the 9th of April) and lasts almost six months straight (until September 28). May is the month in Oklahoma with the most rainy days, with an estimate of 12 days with at least 0.04 inches of precipitation.
