However, when we are looking at New York City, the percentage of dangerous neighborhoods is higher, given the sheer size of the town!
And while some are just historically known to be places to avoid, there are neighborhoods that you definitely have to steer clear of that you may not have heard about. It is never a good idea to stumble into an ill-fated neighborhood, and when you take into consideration the high chance of becoming a victim in these parts, it is even better that you are in the know if you plan to visit or even move to NYC!
