Flooding follower by “Bomb Cyclone” in Mississippi Valley, 2019
Winter Storm Ulmer, which was a major Plains blizzard, provoked major flooding all over Missouri and Mississippi valleys, which destroyed a dam in Nebraska and inundated large parts of western Iowa and southern South Dakota. To make things worse, it was followed by a wet summer and fall, resulting in areas dipping below flood state an entire year. According to the Weather Channel, damages are still tallied.
