4. Brandon Lee

Brandon Lee was the gorgeous son of Bruce Lee, but unfortunately, he didn’t live long enough to have a flourishing career like his father. According to sources, Chad Stahelski, who was Brandon Lee’s stunt double and later directed the John Wick series, never used live guns in any of Keanu Reeves’ action films. This decision stems from the tragic incident on the set of “The Crow,” where lead actor Brandon Lee was killed by a mishandled prop gun.

A tragic accident occurred when a dummy projectile was used in a gun discharging blanks, hitting Lee with the same impact as a real gunshot. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he sadly passed away on March 31st, 1993, at only 28 years old. However, his legacy lived on.

The production team wanted to present the film to the entire world and show fans what a talented star we all lost. So a month later, the filming resumed, and they used body doubles and computer effects to complete Lee’s remaining scenes.

  1. Okay, who were they? I remember Tyrone Power, while filming “The Buccaneer” and Natalie Wood, while filming “Brainstorm”. Who were the other two? This Google website wouldn’t say.

  2. OK, wait. Vic Marrow was beheaded and “Just before he died he said he should’ve used a body double.” How is that even possible???
