1. Conserve Water
Water is the blood that runs through the veins of our universe giving it life. Thinking about how you use (and waste) water can make a massive difference. Little things like when you’re brushing your teeth, turn the faucet off when you are not running the brush under it.
Is the faucet leaking? Apart from the annoying repetitive sound of the drip, drip, drip, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), you could be wasting as much as 90 gallons (340 liters) of water down the drain every day!
Finally, invest in a water filter so you can safely drink your tap water as we need to wean ourselves off drinking bottled water to reduce plastic waste. The bonus part is you’ll save a bit of cash in the process.
