Sichuan Earthquake
A very large earthquake hit the Sichuan area of China back in 2008. The Great Sichuan Earthquake was calculated at 8.0 degrees plus, and it hit at 14:28 local time, on the 12th May 2008. The earthquake hit 69,197 people, as official authorities have declared.
It left around 374,176 people completely injured, and 18,222 were declared to be missing. In addition to that, 4.8 million people were declared homeless, but in reality, it seems that the numbers could’ve even gone up to 11 million.
