1. Olga Moskalyova
A 19-year-old girl from Russia named Olga Moskalyova was camping with her stepfather, Igor Tsyganenkov, when a bear attacked them. They had been fishing by a river and the animal attacked them when they returned to the spot. The first victim was the man. The bear broke his neck and crushed his skull.
The girl tried to run, but she couldn’t get too far when the bear grabbed her and put her down. Somehow, Olga managed to call her mother and kept screaming over the phone that the bear was eating her alive. At first, her mother thought it was just a bad joke, but soon she realized that the attack was actually real and she called the police.
Unfortunately, it was too late for Olga. When the experts arrived at the scene, she was already dead. It is believed that people are continuing to enter the bears’ former natural habitats, which may be the cause of the rise in bear attacks on humans in some areas. In addition to that, bears were also victims of a shortage of natural food sources, and another cause of the attacks might be simply hunger.
