1. Connecticut (Infrastructure score: 216 out of 425 points)

This state is almost the perfect place for a storm to wreak havoc. With rising temperatures and intensifying severe weather, including Norโ€™easters, the effects are far-reaching. Coastal areas are also threatened because sea levels keep rising.

Connecticut is aware of the urgency of the situation, and as a result, it adopted a climate action plan in 2021, whose goal is to reduce the CO2 levels by 45% by 2030. This is an ambitious goal, but more changes need to be made.

For example, renewable energy is an important factor that needs to be developed fast. As you would expect, many other sustainable practices are missing, but renewable energy is an urgent one.

  1. Most of these are northeastern states, so here is my suggestion: cut them all loose and let them form their own little nation. We will miss their revenue . . . but nothing else about them. We will build a big wall so that, when they soon run their little utopia into the ground, they won’t be seeking refuge here.

Then do the same with the Left Coast; Problem solved.

  2. If the Deep State would just leave climate alone, we all would be safer and happier. Climate change is natural, however Man-made hurricanes, rain to flood, tornadoes, cyclones, blizzards, extreme hot temperatures are now being made by man-made machines like HAARP. Millions of us know this. Climate change is being disputed by real scientists. If people believe in todays “climate Change” done by machines, then I have no hope for mankind. They are the ones who need help. Or prison!

  3. “climate change crisis” is a MYTH and a LIE of the DEEP STATE to STRIP your FREEDOMS from you. Get away from the “junk science” and get INFORMED.

  4. This DEMOCRAT would like to correct a bunch of misinformation. 1) We are having more snow not less and spring flooding is proportional to how much snow is on the ground when the spring rains come. 2) The oceans are not rising, the earth continues to settle. 3) CO2 is not a significant greenhouse gas. The only important greenhouse gas is water vapor and we are vaporizing much more water each year civilization advances. 3) Storm activity is not increasing, only storm damages are increasing due to more developed real estate every year. 4) We should not be wasting our time and resources trying to reduce CO2 production, the CO2 increases are due to warming of the oceans and release of gas from the oceans. We don’t know the full story about the warming of the oceans, but heat seepage from the 5000 degree earth core may be a big contributor.
