2. Roy Kinnear

One of the most recognizable figures in the UK, Roy Kinnear was the father of actor Rory Kinnear from “Men,”ย  “Black Mirror,”ย  “James Bond,”ย  and “Penny Dreadful.” Even though he had a prolific career, he rarely received a major role.

After starring as Planchet in the 1973 film “The Three Musketeers,”ย  Kinnear made a third appearance for the second sequel, which was released a decade and a half later. Unfortunately, he wasn’t alive to watch the masterpiece he started in.

During filming “The Return of the Musketeers,”ย  the actor was knocked off his horse and ended up in the hospital in September 1988 with a fractured pelvis. A day later, he passed away from a heart attack caused by severe injuries. Shocked by what happened with this father, Rory Kinnear is still advocating for safer movie sets, and we’re glad things are now better for our dear actors.

  1. Okay, who were they? I remember Tyrone Power, while filming “The Buccaneer” and Natalie Wood, while filming “Brainstorm”. Who were the other two? This Google website wouldn’t say.

  2. OK, wait. Vic Marrow was beheaded and “Just before he died he said he should’ve used a body double.” How is that even possible???
