Texas
Four Texas citiesโHouston, San Antonio, Dallas, and Austinโmake the top 10 list of the worst cities for burglaries, even though Texas itself has fewer robberies per capita than the other states on our list. Additionally, Houston will have the most burglaries per year in the US in 2021, with 14,644 burglaries.

Nevada
With around 503.5 robberies per 100,000 people, Nevada is also a state that stands pretty high on the list of the most dangerous states in America.ย Although there is no doubt that Las Vegas has a high crime rate, it is not the state’s highest.
As opposed to Vegas, which has an overall crime rate of just under 40%, the small town of Elko, with a population of just over 20,000, has a rate exceeding 50%.

There is no such thing as a safe State anymore, be vigilant and wary and cautious on the neighborhood that you are in and donโt obviously go to unsafe and unfamiliar placeโs specially @ night
Fortunately, the state in which I live is not on your list. However, when I got to the last page, I was dumbstruck: I was BORN in New Mexico! I never lived there, though, because soon after I was born my parents moved to California! That said, this article was one of the most interesting ones I’ve seen online, well worth the short reading-time! Thank you!
Is it a coincidence that arizona texas and new mexico are all border states, And nevada is pretty close. Just Asking.
They are called Mexicans and Chicanos! My car was stolen ended up in a Mexican immigrant neighborhood. My girlfriend’s car was stolen it ended up in another Mexican neighborhood. My car has been broken into once in a Black neighborhood and three times in Mexican neighborhoods. Please Mr. President Trump get them out of here put all criminals (white, black, latin and Asian) in prisons on an island and their families too. Enough is enough.
One thing I noticed is that four of these six states are in the Southwest (Nevada borders Arizona). Also, Washington has liberal views, and probably welcomes illegal aliens.
This could suggest TWO things. One, that illegals are responsible for a significant part of the burglaries, or TWO, that because of their status (living under the radar), illegals are a common TARGET of burglars because they are less likely to have home security, or even to report such crimes when THEY are the victims. Further, it could also be the case that the criminal element within the illegal community PREYS ON their own — other people here illegally.
I could easily be wrong, but looking at the geography shown in this article, I wonder if any deeper studies considering the above perspective have been done. Is is possible that doing so might help explain why these particular areas seem to have more crimes of this nature than the rest of the country.
