Monterey Park, California
The shooting in Monterey Park California, took place on January 21, at a dance studio. The event took place on the day there were some Lunar New Year celebrations, and the shooter is suspected to have done this in relation to the nearby celebration, despite nothing being confirmed.
In this massacre, 11 people lost their lives, with 10 others being injured by the gunman, who just opened fire in the dance studio at the location. The man then fled the scene and was found in a van 30 miles away from the tragedy he just caused, where he took his life in the car with the gun he used earlier.
So far, this is the deadliest shooting we had this year, yet many are inclined to believe that it will not stay like this for long.

I’m tired of Americans blaming their problems solely on the presidents. The real issue lies with the American people. Instead of criticizing leaders, take the time to understand them and what they stand for. Get involved: vote, reach out to your state representatives, and discuss community issues. Start committees or neighborhood watches to address what’s being overlooked. Volunteer to help the homeless or get involved in your community. Complaining and being negative only worsens the situation. It’s time to take responsibility and make a positive change. Do better for yourself and your community.

It isn’t the guns. It’s the morons and people with mental issues that lie on applications to get guns that is the problem. If citizens are disarmed, only thugs will have guns and we won’t have any way to protect ourselves from them or the governments that are trying to enslave us. That’s why our forefathers gave us the right to bear arms in the Bill of Rights.

No one has addressed the fact that people have become increasingly homicidal against innocent and defenseless people since the Columbine High School mass shooting event in the 1980s.

You are so correct. Everyone should have protection. Just be smart and lock it up away from your kids. And it is people and kids with mental issues that do this. Or criminals. You notice a person with violent tendencies you need to get them help. Very sad, don’t take guns from regular citizens. Get more protection in schools by having gun detectors at entry.

When the forefathers gave the right to bear arms, it was because a bear could be at your front door. They did not anticipate that every idiot could buy a gun in 2024. The average person does not even know how to use a gun, most would probably shoot themselves in the foot, or leave them around for children to shoot each other.

Guns kill. They are like everyone’s last line of defense. They cost too much to make safe and occupy an enormous amount of attention and waste of time. To many they are a toy and to others their machismo, etc. in comparison they do little to improve the economy, little to promote any kind of healthy loving social interactions among members of society, support lies that lead to delusions, etc., etc., etc., …. Probably gun production should be halted immediately – everyone fired. Hopefully this common sense will flourish and lead to EVERYONE turning in their guns. Stop the waste.

Stop making self defense against the law and you will have less crimes, because the criminal will think twice about picking a victim, also allow open carry in all states, a good guy with a gun is better than a bad guy with a gun…..stop making people victims and they I’ll be safer.

Funny that 3 of the 5 were in California. They have some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation. Banks and politicians have armed guards, protecting valuable assets. Yet, we post gun-free zones at schools, leaving our most valuable assets unprotected.
Pointing a finger at guns won’t work. Tougher CRIMINAL punishment will.

It is insane, disarming citizens leaves us vulnerable and posting “Gun free zone” on school property is the stupidest thing ever. These rules does not protect anyone, it makes us a target. Answer: most if not all happen in areas such as gun free zones, schools, churches, were the shooter knows people are unable to defend themselves and others.

Almost sounds like those mass killings are masterminded for a political agenda especially since the killers die in almost all cases.
If good jobs were plentiful, everyone happily employed and no CIA MKULTRA programs, there wouldn’t be any mass shootings.
This is all by design. A gun does not kill, people do. A hammer, a pen knife, the base of your hand can kill too.
Furthermore, criminals do not obey the law and carry whatever gun they can steal!

One of the shooters with his grandmother worked at McDonald’s four hours three times a week had thousand rounds of military grade bullets driven F250 Ford truck cost about $60,000. The guns cost about $15,000 makes you wonder how a guy that’s making $20 a week afford all that stuff.

You will notice most were in GUN CONTROLLED areas in commiefornia and Illinois, which have the highest number of gun control laws in our nation, the other was a school shooting by a trans.

Chicago and suburbs have seen large numbers of shootings since the beginning of this year 2025.
There is a gun ban in this sanctuary state despite this law it is a mystery that the guns find their way to Cook County . Most occur in Chicago where there are many illegal shelters. Could firearm smuggling be another cartel operation besides drug and human trafficking?
Striker gun laws won’t stop this if the nut who wants to shot up a place he or she will find a way to get a gun off the black market so gun laws don’t apply to these sick o’s. YOU OUTLAW GUNS AND THE OUTLAWS WILL HAVE ALL THE GUNS.
People need to be encouraged to NOTIFY AUTHORITIES when they are aware of a possible threat. It does NOT need to require anything more that a CHECK OUT…instead of a Red Flag.

Note that 4 of these 6 events took place in Kali, the state with some of the most stringent gun control laws in the country, and some of the wackiest people. The problem is not lax gun laws, it’s people, in many cases people not getting the mental health care they need
