Another small town that would pass as a quiet, peaceful place is Robstown, Texas. Unfortunately, this is far from true. In fact, in 2016, this suburb of Corpus Christi received an unwelcome “distinction” when it was named the most dangerous city in Texas.
Crime rates here are 89% higher than in other cities of the Lone Star State and 1.6% higher than the national average—despite a small population of just 11,000 residents.
While there are few murder cases in Robstown, other violent crimes such as robbery and aggravated assault happen about every 12 hours in the city. So, yes, you wouldn’t want to live here.
