5 Worst Things That Could Happen With a Plane

Unfit Weather Conditions

Even when driving on the interstate, if there’s heavy fog, wind, rain, or snow, these weather conditions can end up creating a lot of problems and make us all be more careful with how we are driving. However, since planes are so much bigger and harder to pilot, it also becomes a bigger problem when the weather does a 180 and starts creating problems.

Most of the accidents that were caused by weather conditions being bad for flying have happened during take-off or landing! No matter how much equipment and technology the planes have on board and how much the pilot uses them if the tarmac is slippery due to snow or heavy rain, then the plane has a high chance of skidding off its course.

The same happens when the winds are too strong: they can prevent planes from taking off or cause trouble when landing, so most of the time, if the wind is blowing too hard, the plane will not be allowed to attempt a landing in order to prevent any tragedies. However, sometimes they cannot be avoided, and there have been times when accidents have happened due to extreme weather conditions.

Despite all of this, the one thing most passengers are afraid of: lightning, is not actually a problem for the aircraft.
