What should you do during a tornado?
Knowing what to do in this type of situation can save your life. Tornadoes are very powerful and can be very destructive, so it’s not something to overlook. There are some suggestions given by the U.S. government that you should definitely be aware of, especially if you live in the area of risk mentioned previously.
- Go to a safe location as soon as possible
- Take further precautions and cover your head and neck with your arms
- Stay informed from official sources for further instructions
- DO NOT leave the building, since being in a car or outside are the most dangerous places to be during a tornado
