This one is the one that has the least chance of happening, but it’s still mentioned as a possible aviation accident, and with all the errors and mistakes we mentioned before that could be happening, it could become very real. After all, this would tick off both the box of human error and air traffic control very easily: people made mistakes, the courses weren’t adjusted and due to miscommunication the planes are on the same trajectory.
To avoid this, most planes fly in different flight lanes, which is why flights are scheduled at different times of the day. However, we never know when disaster will strike, and it would be one of the worst mistakes that could ever happen while on board an aircraft!
