It had more than 30 eruptions over the course of history and it is one of the most active in the country. The last eruption happened last year, in 2020.
12. Mount Nyiragongo (Democratic Republic of the Congo)
It has the most prominent lava lake in history and an eruption began this year in May and several people that are missing are considered to be dead because of the outburst.
