8. Halo Rings
More often seen in the nighttime, halo rings are caused by light refracting around the moon or the sun and are good for signaling that moisture and weather fronts are on their way. If you look up when the moon is out and you see one of these halos forming then you know that a warm front is on its way.
This is also a good indicator that you have time on your hands as when they form, you usually have a few days of clement weather before things will turn. If the moon in the sky is shining brightly, it means that rain is on the way as the dust in the air has been blown away by a low-pressure system.
